Stock Market Index Charts - Australian and U.S.
| All Ordinaries | Fifty Leaders | All Industrials | All Resources | Gold Index |
|
Between Monday, April 8 and Friday, June 28, 2002, the ASX published daily closing data on the Fifty Leaders, Industrials, Resources, and Gold (XGO) indexes. There was no open/high/low data issued. On Monday, July 1, 2002, the ASX ceased issuing data on ANY of these indexes. Australia is now without an "official" Fifty Leaders, Industrials, Resource or Gold stock index. This being the case, we have decided to compile our own "unofficial" Australian Gold Stock Index, making use of the stocks that were in the official Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) Gold index (XGO) before it was discontinued. This Australian Gold stock index is available daily to all Privateer and Gold This Week subscribers. | ||||
